Katherine Gobbi

Katherine Gobbi


Katherine has been Chief Executive of EMLife since December 2015.

With over 15 years’ experience in personal injury claims management and working with regulatory bodies, Katherine leads a team of life insurance claims specialists who dedicate their services to helping our life insurance partners achieve their operations and return to work goals.

Since 2012, Katherine has held numerous leadership roles with EML, most recently Claim Operations Manager for EML’s Treasury Managed Fund portfolio.

Daniel Sayegh


Daniel was appointed Head of Operations in July 2017.

Daniel has over 8 years of operational management experience within the financial services and foodservice industries. During his five years with EML, Daniel has led various teams across both workers compensation and life insurance; he currently oversees numerous teams supporting our host insurer clients.

Daniel is a current board member for Kogarah Community Services (KCS), a not-for-profit community based organization providing services in aged care, children’s services and the community.

Lucy Hartley

Lucy Hartley


Lucy joined EMLife as Head of Client Solutions in July 2016. She brings more than 16 years of rehabilitation and personal injury case management experience across multiple insurance jurisdictions in both Australia and the UK. Lucy is passionate about leading high performing teams who in turn support customers return to their best lives.

Lucy leads new business opportunities and aims to make life easier by understanding the needs of Insurers and Reinsurers to design and deliver holistic case management solutions. Lucy facilitates relationships between EMLife and the Australian Life industry, and designs services to relieve pressure whilst improving claims performance both commercially and for customers.

Lisa Lowe, Customer Care

Lisa Lowe


Lisa has worked within the insurance and financial services industry for over 30 years. With a Bachelor of Teaching in Adult Vocational Education, Lisa has supported EMLife teams help their customers get their lives back.

Lisa’s passion has always been to focus on the customer through the application of motivational interviewing and behavioural economics techniques. Lisa’s main priority of putting the customer at the centre of everything we do is the basis for helping customers along their recovery journey.
